It’s hard to put into words what I’ve experienced this past week in Missionvale. Nothing can prepare you for the reality that is the poverty that the people of Missionvale are living in. It has made me realise just how lucky I am and how greatful I should be for all that I have.

The positivity and faith of the people is inspiring – they are so thankful for the little that they have and are so hopeful for the future. They welcomed us into their community and treated us like friends. The work that is done by all in the Missionvale Centre is amazing and I am so glad that I was a part of it. I will never forget my time there or the people that I’ve met!
